We’re Hiring: Head of Asset Performance Management (APM)Location: UAEDivision: Industrial ServicesAbout the RoleAre you a seasoned leader in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical sector with a strong track record in maintenance transformation, digital innovation, and business growth?We are seeking a Head of APM to lead and scale our Asset Performance Management segment, driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and next-generation maintenance solutions across downstream assets.This role requires a leader operating at the cutting edge of maintenance technology and digitalisation, with the ability to combine technical depth, commercial acumen, and innovation-driven service delivery.⚙️ Key ResponsibilitiesLead the APM strategy, driving business growth, profitability, and market expansionOwn full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performanceDevelop and execute bidding strategies and techno-commercial proposalsManage key client relationships, joint ventures, and stakeholder engagementDrive digital transformation initiatives, including AI/ML-enabled maintenance solutionsDeliver innovative maintenance service models, including performance-based and outcome-driven contractsEnsure operational excellence across:Reliability & Availability EngineeringAsset Integrity & Process Safety frameworksStrengthen project delivery, governance, and risk management practicesLead and develop high-performing, cross-functional teams across geographiesExpand and grow a maintenance services business, including new markets, capabilities, and offerings🎯 What We’re Looking ForCore Experience (Must-Have)20+ years of experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical sectorMandatory experience in downstream maintenance management (refineries, gas processing, petrochemical plants)⚠️ Power plant-only experience will not be considered sufficientCurrently operating at the leading edge of maintenance technology development and/or implementationTechnical & Domain ExpertiseStrong hands-on exposure to:Asset Performance Management (APM) frameworksPredictive / Preventive MaintenanceReliability & Availability EngineeringAsset Integrity ManagementProcess Safety & Safety Critical Elements (SCE)Methodologies such as:RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance)RBI (Risk-Based Inspection)CBM (Condition-Based Monitoring)ARM (Asset Risk Management)Systems & tools:CMMS / EAM platforms (SAP PM, Maximo, etc.)Digitalisation & Innovation (Critical Requirement)Proven experience in digital transformation of maintenance functionsStrong exposure to:AI / Machine Learning in maintenancePredictive analytics & smart maintenance systemsDemonstrated ability to introduce:Innovative service offeringsNew commercial models (performance-based / outcome-driven contracts)Industry Background FitCandidates may come from:Client/Operator side (preferred only if highly technical + strong business acumen)Maintenance / Industrial Services companies (highly preferred) with:Proven experience in managing AND scaling maintenance services businessesOEM background with deep expertise in critical equipment such as:Gas TurbinesCompressorsPumps (must be linked to service innovation, not just product support)Leadership & Commercial CapabilityStrong business acumen with proven P&L ownershipExperience managing large portfolios and long-term contractsAbility to grow and transform business lines, not just operate themExcellent client-facing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsQualifications🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial preferred)📜 Certifications such as IAM, CRE, CMRP are highly desirable
