AIJobsUAE (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by ArtisanAI, Dubai, UAE. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under applicable data protection law including the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection.

2. Data We Collect

Account data — name, email address, password (hashed), profile photo URL
Profile data — CV/résumé, headline, phone number, nationality, visa status, location, salary expectations, career goals
Usage data — pages visited, jobs viewed, searches performed, actions taken (collected via privacy-friendly analytics)
Authentication data — OAuth tokens when you sign in with Google or LinkedIn (we never store your OAuth password)

3. How We Use Your Data

To operate the platform and match you with relevant opportunities
To allow employers to find suitable candidates (subject to your privacy settings)
To send transactional emails such as password reset and application confirmations
To improve the platform through aggregated, anonymised analytics
To comply with legal obligations in the UAE

4. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

Employers — only the fields you choose to make visible via your privacy settings
Service providers — hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers operating under data processing agreements
Regulators — where required by UAE law

Your salary minimum floor is always private and is never shared with employers, recruiters, or third-party systems.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is erased within 30 days except where retention is required by law. CV files are stored securely in our database and are accessible only to you and, subject to your consent, to employers.

6. Your Rights

Under UAE data protection law you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your data (right to erasure)
Object to or restrict processing
Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format)

7. Cookies

We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in and functional cookies to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. Security

Your data is stored in an encrypted PostgreSQL database hosted within the EU/UAE region. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. OAuth access tokens are never stored. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.
