If you're inspired by purpose and motivated to be part of a global team shaping the future of aviation and travel, we’d love to have you onboard.As a Data Scientist – AI Engineer, your role will be to undertake Data Science and AI projects by designing and applying generative AI and LLM-based techniques, alongside machine learning, problem structuring, and data analysis to solve complex business problems across the dnata Travel Group portfolio, with a focus on timely delivery and ownership of results.In This Role, You WillDeliver analytics and data science projects using statistical, machine learning, and AI techniquesTranslate data into clear insights and recommendations for business stakeholdersDevelop and maintain data pipelines, models, and analytical toolsAnalyse KPIs and large datasets (structured and unstructured) to identify trends and opportunitiesApply the most appropriate techniques (ML, optimisation, AI/LLMs) to solve business problemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams across data, engineering, and business domainsSupport deployment, testing, and continuous improvement of solutions in production environmentsWork in iterative delivery cycles, adapting quickly to changing requirementsQualificationTo be considered for this position, you must meet the below requirements:MSc/PhD in a relevant field (data science, operations research, mathematics, AI, statistics, etc.)2–4 years of hands-on experience in the analytics ecosystemExperience with:Programming languages (SQL, R, Python)LLMs, GenAI, including prompt engineering and RAG patternsAzure AI stack (Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Document Intelligence)DevOps frameworks (Git, CI/CD, Docker)Experience working with DevOps & engineering teams to integrate models and workflowsExperience building reusable libraries/packages and production-grade DS solutionsYou Will Have An Edge If You Have/areStrong team player with a problem-solving mindsetExperience delivering advanced analytics in large, complex organisationsAbility to challenge and validate analytical outputsFocus on driving business value and long-term stakeholder relationshipsCapability to grow teams and maintain culture/strategy alignmentExperience with agent-based / multi-step AI workflowsExposure to vector databases, embeddings and semantic searchFamiliarity with MLflow, Databricks, or LLM observability frameworksProven experience delivering end-to-end data / AI pipelines from ingestion through to deploymentExperience scaling an AI solution in productionLeisure travel / destination management industry experienceAnalytics domain certificationsAt Emirates Group, we’re committed to providing our employees with opportunities to grow and develop in their careers.
