DescriptionJob DescriptionAmazon is a highly data driven company highly obsessive about metrics. The Data analysts play a crucial role in creating unique reports from data available in multiple locations and providing vital insights into the root cause of quality defects and inventory adjustments. ICQA Data Analyst will work closely with the ICQA, Learning and Finance departments to provide data and analytical support for the business.Key job responsibilitiesDevelopment of data collection processes and data management systemsDesigning of queries, compiling of data, and generation of reports in SQLCharting and graphing of data for reporting purposesDeveloping dashboard (Amazon Quicksight) to support business decision making and dive deep activitiesDevelop automation solution for analysis (python)Prepare and publish reports for business reviews (Weekly Business Review, Quarterly Business Review, Project Updates)Supporting leadership team how to interpret data trends as neededIn depth research of defect trendsPresent analysis in easily digestible standard reportsSupport to ICQA & Learning Team ProjectsBasic QualificationsExperience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilitiesExperience communicating clearly and effectively with different functional groups including senior business leaders, finance, HR and developersExperience managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving, and communicating recommendationsExperience translating customer needs into business requirementsExperience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissionsPreferred QualificationsExperience with training and deploying machine learning systems to solve large-scale optimizations, or experience in development or technical supportOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
