About The RoleOutpace is hiring AI Engineers to build the internal AI and automation layer that helps our teams move faster, reduce manual work, and scale efficiently.In this role, you will design, build, deploy, and maintain internal AI systems, agents, workflow automations, data pipelines, and productivity tools used across sales, delivery, finance, recruiting, marketing, operations, and leadership.This is a practical engineering role for someone who can turn repeatable business processes into secure, reliable, well-documented systems.What You’ll DoBuild and maintain AI agents, internal copilots, workflow automations, structured prompts, and internal productivity tools.Integrate AI workflows with tools such as Notion, CRM systems, email, calendar, Odoo, project management platforms, and internal knowledge bases.Support teams across SDR, AE, recruiting, finance, delivery, marketing, and executive operations with practical automation.Create reliable data flows, APIs, scripts, dashboards, and lightweight internal tools that reduce manual reporting and coordination.Partner with AI/Ops leadership on governance, documentation, testing, access control, and quality standards.Monitor agent performance, failures, edge cases, security risks, and user feedback.Document systems clearly so business users understand what exists, how it works, and how to request changes.What We’re Looking ForStrong software engineering fundamentals.Experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, APIs, databases, and automation workflows.Hands-on experience building with LLMs, AI APIs, prompt engineering, agent workflows, RAG, or internal AI tools.Ability to ship practical business systems quickly without over-engineering.Strong judgment around security, permissions, privacy, reliability, and auditability.Clear communication and comfort working directly with business teams.Nice to HaveExperience with OpenAI or Anthropic APIs.Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, vector databases, workflow automation tools, Notion API, Odoo, CRM systems, or internal operations tooling.Experience in consulting, professional services, RevOps, finance operations, sales operations, or delivery operations.Comfort training non-technical teams on AI-enabled workflows.What Success Looks LikeHigh-value internal workflows are automated and adopted by teams.Manual work is reduced across sales, recruiting, finance, marketing, delivery, and operations.Production automations are reliable, secure, and maintain a low failure rate.Systems are clearly documented and easy for business users to understand.Operating speed, reporting accuracy, and execution quality improve measurably.First 90 DaysIn Your First 90 Days, You WillAudit current manual workflows and identify top automation opportunities.Ship 3-5 high-impact internal AI or automation workflows.Document existing agents, prompts, integrations, and risks.Create a simple intake process for new automation requests.Partner with AI/Ops leadership to define governance and quality standards.About Outpace Professional ServicesOPS delivers enterprise-grade ERP, automation, and sovereign technology solutions for ambitious businesses that need to move fast without sacrificing quality.
