Job PurposeLead and govern the bank-wide portfolio of Artificial Intelligence programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, regulatory expectations, and enterprise risk frameworks.The role is accountable for end-to-end program delivery across AI initiatives, including prioritization, execution oversight, value realization, and governance, while ensuring responsible AI adoption at scale.Key Result AreasAI Program Governance & DeliveryEstablish and manage centralized governance for all AI programsEnsure structured lifecycle management from ideation to deployment and scalingPortfolio Prioritization & Resource OptimizationDrive prioritization aligned with business value, regulatory requirements, and resource constraintsOptimize utilization of AI infrastructure (e.g. GPU, platforms) and delivery capacityExecution OversightTrack progress, risks, dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of AI initiativesImplement standardized program management frameworks and reportingValue RealizationDefine and monitor KPIs linked to business outcomes (revenue, cost, risk reduction, efficiency)Ensure measurable and auditable value realizationAI Governance & ComplianceEnsure all programs comply with internal governance, Model Risk, and regulatory (e.g. CBUAE) guidelinesEmbed responsible AI principles (fairness, explainability, security, auditability)Stakeholder ManagementEngage with senior stakeholders across business, risk, compliance, and technologyProvide executive-level reporting (SteerCo, GCEO updates)Vendor & Partner ManagementOversee delivery partners, vendors, and strategic collaborationsEnsure alignment with contractual, delivery, and quality expectationsDecision Making Authority & ResponsibilityAccountable for AI program portfolio governance and delivery outcomesRecommends prioritization, funding allocation, and execution strategiesEscalates critical risks and trade-offs to senior leadership as requiredApproves program-level frameworks, reporting standards, and governance controlsKnowledge, Skills And ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferredExperience:12–15+ years of experience in technology program management, with strong exposure to AI/ML initiativesProven track record managing large-scale, cross-functional transformation programsExperience in banking or financial services preferredSkills:Strong program management and portfolio governance expertiseUnderstanding of AI/ML lifecycle, data platforms, and enterprise architectureKnowledge of regulatory and risk frameworks applicable to AIStakeholder management at executive levelStrong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
