Enterprise Data Architect – AI & DatabricksWe are looking for an experienced Data Architect with 10+ years of experience designing and delivering modern, enterprise-scale data platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Databricks and cloud-native data architectures, with a proven track record of building scalable, high-performance data ecosystems. You will be responsible for designing end-to-end data platforms, including Medallion Lakehouse architectures, that support advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven use cases.A strong background in AI is essential, with experience designing architectures that enable feature engineering, MLOps, and Generative AI workloads. You should be comfortable working across both architecture and engineering, translating complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and production-ready data solutions.Key requirements 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or related fieldsProven expertise designing and implementing Databricks Lakehouse platforms, including Medallion (Bronze, Silver, Gold) architectureStrong experience with cloud-native data platforms, preferably on Microsoft AzureHands-on experience designing data platforms that support AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI use casesDeep understanding of data modelling, data governance, security, and enterprise-scale data platform designExperience with Delta Lake, data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and performance optimisationAbility to collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-wide data initiativesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both technical and business audiences
