Head of AI ProductsHalian are partnering with an innovative organisation undergoing a significant transformation in AI and intelligent automation. As part of their continued investment in advanced AI capabilities, they are seeking a Head of AI Agentic Products to lead the vision, architecture and delivery of next-generation AI agent platforms and products.This is a senior leadership role for an experienced AI professional who combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical expertise and has a proven track record of building and scaling production-grade AI solutions.As the Head of AI Agentic Products, you will define the technical direction of a growing AI Agents function, leading a multidisciplinary team while remaining actively involved in architecture, engineering decisions and product innovation.You'll drive the development of secure, scalable, and impactful AI agent solutions that leverage the latest advancements in LLMs, agentic frameworks, orchestration platforms, and AI governance.Key Responsibilities:Own the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for AI agent products and platforms.Lead, mentor, and grow a team of AI engineers, developers, and product specialists.Drive key architectural decisions around agent orchestration, LLM adoption, tool integration, memory management, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks.Remain hands-on with solution design, code reviews, prototyping, and development of critical components.Establish engineering standards and best practices across AI development, testing, deployment, and operations.Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business priorities into scalable AI products and delivery plans.Ensure compliance with security, governance, privacy, and Responsible AI requirements.Optimise performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency of deployed AI systems.Evaluate emerging AI technologies and frameworks, driving adoption where they deliver business value.What We're Looking For:8–12 years of experience in software engineering, AI, machine learning, or related technical leadership roles.Proven experience designing and delivering AI agentic or LLM-powered products in production environments.Deep expertise in AI architecture, distributed systems, and scalable platform design.Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and/or TypeScript.Hands-on experience with modern agentic ecosystems, including technologies such as:Microsoft Agent Framework, Azure AI Foundry, MCP (Model Context Protocol), A2A, Google ADK, Managed agent platforms and orchestration frameworksStrong understanding of: LLM integration and APIs, Prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI evaluation frameworks, AI safety and guardrailsExperience with Azure cloud technologies, microservices architectures, and CI/CD environments.Interested?
