Artificial Intelligence Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on AI Engineer to join a forward-thinking organisation and build the next generation of AI-powered applications.This is an engineering-led role for someone who can take AI solutions from prototype through to production, working with LLMs, Generative AI and agentic workflows to build scalable, reliable applications.What you’ll be doing:• Design, build and deploy end-to-end AI applications• Build on foundation models to develop intelligent agent workflows• Work hands-on with LLM APIs, prompting, tool calling and RAG• Integrate AI capabilities into existing products and backend services• Use AI coding agents while maintaining ownership of architecture, security and code quality• Develop evaluation, testing and monitoring frameworks across quality, safety, latency and cost• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and support build-vs-buy decisions• Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholdersWhat we’re looking for:• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience• Proven experience building and deploying AI/ML applications into production• Hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI• Strong understanding of RAG, prompting and tool/function calling• Solid understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals• Strong written and spoken EnglishWe are particularly interested in engineers who have gone beyond experimentation and can demonstrate real-world, production AI applications.
