Expert Artificial Intelligence

JOB PURPOSE:Provide expert advice and specialist support for the implementation of artificial intelligence and business intelligence strategy and governance. Contribute to the development, validation, deployment and monitoring of machine learning models, advanced data science and predictive analytics solutions to promote innovation, generate actionable insights and support proactive and strategic decision-making.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide expert advice and contribute to the implementation of artificial intelligence and business intelligence strategy and governance in alignment with the Department’s vision and institutional objectives, in coordination with the Digital Planning and Innovation DepartmentDevelop and validate customized artificial intelligence, deep learning and machine learning models using structured, unstructured and geospatial datasets.Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering and model evaluation to ensure accuracy, fairness, robustness and performance.Apply advanced technologies, including predictive analytics, natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision, to support intelligent solutions and operational decision-making.Define and integrate model metrics and monitoring tools to track post-deployment performance, including drift, bias and latency, and conduct periodic outcome reviews.Collect and analyze data from multiple sources in coordination with the Data Department, ensuring the quality, integrity and suitability of data used for training and analysis.Develop analytical tools, methodologies, reports and dashboards, including Power BI and Tableau, to generate insights that support strategic decision-making.Advise on and support compliance with data privacy, responsible data use and ethical artificial intelligence requirements throughout the AI model lifecycle, in coordination with the Digital Planning and Innovation Department.Assess risks and implementation challenges associated with artificial intelligence and business intelligence solutions and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.Perform data discovery, cleansing and mining activities to identify meaningful trends, patterns and relationships in large and complex datasets.Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer and specialist support to analytics and artificial intelligence colleagues and relevant business teams Collaborate with internal departments and technical teams to identify analytical requirements and integrate intelligent solutions with existing systems in support of digital transformation.Perform any other duties required by business needs or assigned by the direct supervisor.PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE1- Relevant specialist experience in artificial intelligence strategy, governance, machine learning model lifecycles, advanced analytics and predictive analytics.2- Minimum experience: 6 years in a relevant field.3- Language proficiency: Arabic (fluent) and English (advanced).
