Freelance Trainer – AI

Role OverviewWe are looking for a knowledgeable and engaging Trainer to deliver program across Artificial Intelligence, Financial Technology, and Regulatory Technology. This is a flexible, multi-programme role — you will work across different client engagements and audience types, from banking professionals and compliance teams to regulatory staff and executive cohorts. The ideal candidate brings real industry experience in these areas, not just theoretical knowledge, and can make complex topics feel practical and relevant to the people in the room.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver training sessions across AI, FinTech, and RegTech topics in both in-person and virtual settingsAdapt content, pace, and delivery style to suit different audience backgrounds and experience levelsFacilitate workshops, discussions, and applied exercises that connect concepts to real financial services scenariosAssess participant progress through knowledge checks and exercises, and provide constructive feedbackShare post-session observations with the program team to help improve content and delivery over timeStay current with developments in AI, FinTech innovation, and financial regulation to keep delivery fresh and credibleRequired Qualifications & ExperienceAt least 8 years of professional experience in one or more of: AI/machine learning, data science, FinTech, RegTech, or compliance technology within financial servicesAt least 3 years of training or facilitation experience with professional audiencesSolid understanding of FinTech business models — Open Banking, digital payments, embedded finance, eKYC, and platform/API ecosystemsFamiliarity with RegTech tools and concepts — automated compliance, regulatory reporting, and data privacy frameworksExperience working with or delivering for financial regulators, central banks, or government-linked institutions is a strong advantageExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical and regulatory topics clearly to non-technical audiences
