Role OverviewThis role leads the engineering and deployment of enterprise-grade Artificial Intelligence platforms that support large-scale digital transformation. Responsibility includes building scalable, secure, and compliant AI systems such as conversational AI agents, operational automation solutions, and enterprise knowledge platforms. The position works across data science, platform engineering, and business teams to ensure technical excellence, drive innovation, and deliver impactful customer and employee experiences through strong engineering foundations and high-performance pipelines.Experience and Qualifications The role requires at least 8 years of experience in AI or ML engineering, platform development, or large-scale digital product engineering. Proven experience deploying enterprise AI or ML solutions is essential, with exposure to regulated industries preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or equivalent in AI or ML is preferred.Technical Skills and Expertise Strong AI and ML engineering expertise, including large language models, transformers, multimodal models, retrieval-augmented generation, and vector databases. Experience with NLP, NLU, personalisation, and recommendation systems. Ability to design and build scalable, cloud-native AI platforms using microservices architecture. Proficiency in Python, public cloud platforms, SQL and NoSQL databases, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and ML lifecycle tools.Additional Capabilities Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to mentor teams and collaborate across functions.
