Role: Data Scientist (Remote)Location: RemotePayout: $59 - $114/hourRole OverviewWe are hiring a Data Scientist to turn data into decisions. In this role, you will run experiments, build models, and partner with product and leadership to drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate has strong statistical fundamentals, a pragmatic approach to modeling, and clear communication skills.Key Responsibilities- Design and analyze experiments, A/B tests, and causal studies.- Build predictive models including regression, classification, forecasting, and ranking.- Evaluate AI and LLM output quality using structured methodologies.- Partner with product and leadership on data-driven decisions.- Communicate findings through dashboards, documents, and presentations.- Define and monitor key business metrics.Required Skills & Qualifications- 2+ years as a data scientist, quantitative analyst, or ML practitioner.- Strong Python (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and SQL.- Statistical fundamentals: hypothesis testing, experimental design, power analysis.- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Analytical rigor and curiosity.- Experience with data visualization.Preferred Qualifications- Deep learning experience (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).- LLM evaluation frameworks (DeepEval, RAGAS, LangSmith).- Causal inference (DoWhy, EconML) or Bayesian methods.- BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.- Experience with R, Stata, or MATLAB.What We Offer- Remote and flexible work environment.- Contract and full-time options available.- Data-rich problem space with real business impact.- Collaborative and analytics-driven team culture.- Learning opportunities across modern data and ML tools.Equal Opportunity EmployerWe hire based on skills and expertise.
