Role SummaryThis role is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and data products on our enterprise Data Lakehouse (DLH) hosted on OCI. The engineer will work closely with business, actuarial, underwriting, and claims teams to deliver new data assets, ingestion frameworks, and transformation pipelines that power analytics, regulatory reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines using OCI Data Flow, ODI, and AIDP.Develop optimized data models and marts on Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) for analytics and downstream consumption.Manage structured and unstructured data in OCI Object Storage, ensuring efficient organization, lifecycle policies, and cost optimization.Implement Delta Lakehouse patterns for ingestion, curation, and consumption layers within the DLH.Collaborate with architects to design high‑performance, reusable ingestion frameworks for new projects.Work with business teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and data pipelines.Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance standards are embedded into all pipelines.Optimize performance of ETL/ELT jobs, SQL queries, and ADW workloads.Good to have: Experience with Oracle GoldenGate for real‑time replication and CDC pipelines.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong hands‑on experience with OCI services:ADW (Autonomous Data Warehouse)Object StorageData Flow (Apache Spark on OCI)ODI (Oracle Data Integrator)AIDP (AI Data Platform)Solid SQL + Python development and performance tuning skills.Understanding of insurance domain data (policies, claims, finance, underwriting) is an advantage.Experience building data pipelines in cloud environments (preferably OCI).Understanding of Delta Lakehouse concepts, medallion architecture, and data versioning.Good communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
